Had a great stay here in Feb 2023 . Not near town ( 20 minute walk or taxi ) but good bus service to ski fields and there is a pub and a few restaraunts near by . Enjoyed the Onsen and yes breakfast was pretty much the same everyday but got you going . Romain the English speaking Frenchman made our trip a beauty ! He knew all bus / train info or would find out , knew all info on ski fields , rental places etc he would book taxis , restaraunts etc . He never seemed to get sick of our stupid questions ! I am sure the rest of the staff are equally as brilliant but because poor Romain spoke English he got us !!

For the price, the bedding and toiletries could be a bit more upscale. Breakfast buffet is good but the same everyday so you'll get tired of it after your first two days. Dinner is worth booking in advance for the seasonal course menu. The staff is super friendly and helpful, bumping this to an easy 5 stars for me.

A very nice hotel wirh excellent environment! The room is clean and spacious. The staff is polite and helpful. The size of the hot spring is a bit small but it is alright.

very nice hotel, staff were friendly, 2 restaurants French and Japanese, both were very good. Bar was good for after diner drinks and nice open fire to gaze at while contemplating return to the real world. rooms were good size. Bathing facilities were good, both indoor and outdoor facilities. Buffet breakfast had both Japanese and western food. Hotel picked you up/dropped you off from Hakuba Bus terminal.

I’d give more stars if I could. The treatment was royal at a reasonable cost. Excellent staff, fabulous room, wonderful massage. Rental shop on site, shuttles to and fro. Onsen on site. The restaurants were nothing amazing, cheap food in my picky opinion. but the rest of the experience made up for that.

Staff very attentive and helpful, japanese restaurant is outstanding but expensive. Not walking distance to slopes really, but provide free shuttle service which you have to book in advance. Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage, bathroom is a little dated but perfectly fine. In fact the whole hotel is a little dated but fine.

Fantastic service throughout and comfy room. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and an evening meal. My first time in onsen after skiing, definitely recommend!

First and foremost I would like to thank all the staff here. They stand out in front in an industry that is aimed to please. Location is good. Close to many restaurants and pubs. The Onsen is perfect. You can rent inside the hotel for your mountain needs and even do your own laundry if needed.
